This sugar softener is designed to maintain moisture in brown sugar for 3 to 6 months, keeping it soft and ready to use.
Crafted from specially fired, food-safe clay, it’s reusable and easy to use. Simply soak the softener in water for 20 minutes, then place it in your brown sugar, baked goods, cakes, cookies, marshmallows, or even dried fruit to keep them moist and fresh.
Alternatively, use it dry (without soaking) to absorb excess moisture and keep spices, salt, crackers, pretzels, and chips crisp and dry.
For cleaning, rinse with clean water only—avoid soap to prevent any residual taste or scent.
